-John
3:16-18
16 “For
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him shall not
perish, but have eternal life.17 For God did not send the Son into the world to
judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who
believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God. (= HELL)
-Eph
2:8-9 (10 is Kingdom)
8 For by
grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves, it is the
gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may
boast.
Next vs
shifts into Kingdom: (2:10)
10 For we
are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand so that
we would walk in them.
-Phase 2 Gospel of the Kingdom
-God
values FAITH rooted in LOVE in everything we do.
-Matthew
8:5-13
5 And when Jesus
entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, 6 and saying,
“Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully
tormented.” 7 Jesus
*said to him, “I will come and heal him.” 8 But the
centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say
the word, and my servant will be healed.9 For I also am
a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one,
‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do
this!’ and he does it.” 10 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said
to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. 11 I say to you
that many will come from east and west, and recline at the
table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; 12 but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out
into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and
gnashing of teeth.” 13 And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be
done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed
that very moment.
These are “sons of the kingdom” (not lost people destined for
hell)
D – “Outer darkness” –

Matthew 7:21-24
21 “Not
everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he
who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me
on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your
name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to
them, ‘I never knew you; depart from
Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
24 “Therefore everyone
who hears these words of Mine and acts
on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the
rock.
-The ISSUE: - do you have a growing heart-to-heart
relationship with
God as your Lord, by hearing His words AND ACTING ON THEM?
-Or have you chosen OUTER DARKNESS or even HELL?
-Early in my 35 years:
-Henry Blackabee:
“Ask God how he is moving and how He wants me to
join him in his work, and JUST DO IT”! √
-I have tried to live this way for 34 years.
-I made a lot of mistakes but quickly asked
forgiveness and repented = under the Blood of Jesus & no Judgment Seat for
those.
-Listen to 1 last EX.
-Luke 19:12-26
12 So He said, “A
nobleman went to a distant country to receive a kingdom for himself, and then return. 13 And he called ten of his slaves, and gave them
ten minas and said to them, ‘Do business with this until I
come back.’ 14 But (most of) his citizens hated him and
sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to reign
over us.’ 15 When he returned, after
receiving the kingdom, he ordered that these slaves, to whom he had given the
money, be called to him so that he might know what business they had
done. 16 The first appeared,
saying, ‘Master, your mina has made ten minas more.’ 17 And he said to him, ‘Well done, good slave,
because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in
authority over ten cities.’ 18 The
second came, saying, ‘Your mina, master, has made five minas.’ 19 And he said to him also, ‘And you are to be over
five cities.’ 20 Another
came, saying, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I kept put away in a
handkerchief; 21 for I
was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did
not lay down and reap what you did not sow.’ 22 He *said to him, ‘By your own words I will judge
you, you worthless slave. Did you know that I am an exacting man, taking up
what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow? 23 Then why did you not put my money in the bank,
and having come, I would have collected it with interest?’24 Then he said to the bystanders, ‘Take the mina
away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.’ 25 And they said to him, ‘Master, he has ten
minas already.’ 26 I tell
you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does
not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.
Q-How
are you using the talents, giftings, and callings God gave you?
The Selfish King & The Noble King
–
Which one do YOU want to be like?
King Saul
-People reject
God as King and want man to be king
-So He gave them
Saul
(We as a
nation get the leaders we deserve)
-Samuel anoints
him as King
-Great appearance and abilities
-But no HEART
Lordship Devotion to God
-Did his own
desires
-Saul leads
Israel to initial victories over:
-Philistines
-other
Ites
-But very quickly
starts disobeying God
1 Samuel 13:13-14
13 Samuel
said to Saul, “You have acted foolishly; you have not kept the commandment
of the Lord your God,
which He commanded you, for now the Lord would have established your
kingdom over Israel forever. 14 But now
your kingdom shall not endure. The Lord has sought out for Himself a
man after His own heart, and the Lord has
appointed him as ruler over His people, because you have not kept what the Lord commanded you.”
1 Samuel 15:26
But
Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you; for you have rejected
the word of the Lord,
and the Lord has
rejected you from being king over Israel.”
-Our role now:
-We
must grow in our heart to heart relationship with God
-By
spending time with Him regularly
-By
daily trusting in FAITH for the Holy Spirit to lead us into Truth
-By
obeying the leading of the Holy Spirit
-By
repenting quickly when Holy Spirit reveals we missed Him
-Persevering
in these things all the way to end of our life.
King David
-Youngest
and least in his family
= they
made him a shepherd who stays out with the flock
-He
spent a lot of time with God
-He
HONORED God
-He
gave God his whole HEART (Lordship)
-He followed
the Holy Spirit’s leading in life.
-He
grew strong in FAITH & LOVE for God.
-He trusted
in and relied on God’s power and Presence
-He
killed a bear
-He
killed a lion
-Then
he killed Goliath ALL BY TRUSTING
God to live through him
(Galatians
2:20)
-Samuel
anointed Him King over Israel after God rejected Saul.
-His
FAITH in God enabled him to consistently defeat Israel’s enemies
-God
called David a MAN after MY OWN (GOD’S) HEART who will do ALL MY
WILL.
Acts 13:22
22 After He had removed
him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and
said, ‘I have found David the
son of Jesse, a man after My heart,
who will do all My will.’
Q – But I thought David made a lot of mistakes?
-He did
-Bathsheba
and killing Uriah (her husband)
-Another
time He disobeyed God and numbered the Israelites
=20,000
? Israelites died.
-BUT – he quickly repented in true Godly sorrow
-He kept his HEART always set on FIATH-FILLED LOVE for
God.
Q – So which one do you want to be like? King Saul or
King David?
Q – Do you want to just stay out of hell or go all the
way with God?
Q – Do you want to Reign with Jesus for 1000 years
with a glorious supernatural body,
or do
you want to sit in time out in outer darkness for 1000 years watching?
Lets take 60 seconds, close your eyes and answer this
question to God
-Go all
the way with Him or not?
Alter Call
1. If you have already accepted free gift of Jesus’
salvation OR you want to, then stand up.
(I lead them all in a prayer of salvation)
2. If you have either already given your whole heart
to God as Lord or want to then stay standing. If you do not want to go all the
way with God, then please sit down.
(I lead them in a prayer for WHOLE HEART Bride
of Christ prayer)
Our Goal:
Rev. 19:7-9
7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him,
for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His [a]bride has made herself ready.” 8 It was given to her to
clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the
fine linen is the righteous acts of the [b]saints.
9 Then he
*said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper
of the Lamb.’” And he *said to me, “These are true words of God.”
