YOUR DISCUSSION Q – How will I adjust my life to receive God’s blessings? Start new in 2020 believing in God that gives abundance of grace Hebrews 4:16 (AMP)  Therefore, let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].   Tell our story of 1209 -moved to farm, which was last LOCAL phone line and was 1209 -saw 1209 everywhere and asked God WHAT IS THIS ABOUT 2 Corinthians 12:09 but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. 1209 Story continued -1986 real estate recession -God gave us Jubliee Tent Rental Idea -God gave us 5K to buy 3 tents and box of business cards 2 Corinthians 8:9 (amp)  For you are recognizing [more clearly] the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favor], that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich (abundantly blessed). -God was re-fathering me out of self-reliance and total trust in Him for everything -Self-reliance = 1 mess after the other EX – expanded JTR with loan = 7 years of bondage to trying to do it myself. MESS!!! -God’s loving sovereignty allowed me to go through 7 long hard years -So that I KNOW the best way is to rely on him. -His love was so wonderful during the 7 years -You all remember my June 27, 1998 story -DON’T fear and worry over finances – TRUST GOD INSTEAD -DON’T worry over your precious family – TRUST GOD… -Tanya’s cardinal/red bird story every time things looked bleak -DO YOU SEE GOD’s SOVEREIGNTY here – He did not relieve financial circumstances during the 7 years. -He did something much better – GAVE US GRACE TO TRUST HIM EX. Graham Cook – God said for a whole year you will not need 1 dollar     -DO YOU SEE WHY GOD is allowing evil during this age? -So we never go there again!!! -So we NEVER go the SELF-RELIANCE path again. -God is re-fathering us out of that and into a peaceful, grace-filled trusting Him for everything. Matthew 5:3 amp - “Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever]. 2 Corinthians 9:8 amp - And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. Q-CAN AND WILL YOU LET GOD RE-FATHER YOU THIS WAY? -From now on can you trust Him for grace for everything you walk through? 2 Corinthians 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us. Q-Can you see how God’s grace can keep you out of life-devastating temptations? James 4:6-8 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.   Jesus will help you by giving you GRACE – Cry out to Him Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. God re-fathered David and turned him into a giant-killer King David -Listen what David learned Psalm 34:4-8 NASB - I sought the Lord, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will never be ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him And saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them. 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!   Psalm 37:5-7 AMP - Trust [rely on and have confidence] in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and feed [securely] on His faithfulness. 4  Delight yourself in the Lord, And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart. 5  Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it. 6  He will make your righteousness [your pursuit of right standing with God] like the light, And your judgment like [the shining of] the noonday [sun]. 7  Be still before the Lord; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him; Do not fret (whine, agonize) because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.     DISCUSSION QUESTIONS Q-CAN AND WILL YOU LET GOD RE-FATHER YOU THIS WAY? -From now on can you trust Him for grace for everything you walk through?
