Kingdom or Captivity – YOUR CHOICE (Compiled by Jon Dorris) (Permission granted for anyone to use freely) Credit to Fred Markert, and Church of All Nations Intro -Our goal for today is to build our strong foundation on Jesus Christ, to stand in the shaking going on in the world. Ps. 11:3 If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do? Today I have BAD NEWS – followed by GOOD NEWS + more GOOD NEWS Q-Which would you rather be?        1. Co-kings over a Kingdom?        2. Be in captivity as slaves? Proverbs 12:24        The hand of the diligent will rule, But the slack hand will be put to forced labor. Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people. What is the state of our Nation today?        -Decline        -but ray of HOPE Disclaimer        This is NOT a political message! I am not endorsing politicians. Rather, I am issuing a “call to arms” to fight for God’s righteous standards in our nation BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. God operates in CYCLES Ecclesiastes 1:9 That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun. GEOPOLITICAL CYCLES 1. Multipolar World        -Many nations have power        -Bad because they tend to fight each other (WAR)        -Ex. – WW1 and WW2        -Gospel progress hindered 2. Bipolar World        -emerges from war        -2 main super power nations rise to power        -Ex. USA and the Soviet Union in the 1980s 3. Unipolar World        -One super power emerges        -Ex. USA emerged #1 in 1992 after collapse of Soviet Union        -God exalts a nation for it’s righteousness        -To police the world from evil (Romans 13:1-7) Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people. Bad News        In 2013 the USA had morally declined in all areas of society so badly that analysts believed we would see the USA go from the #1 Super Power down to a Multipolar World, (where the USA would fall to being just 1 of many nations), by 2017 at earliest but most likely around 2025. Bad News -     Americans turning their back on God – Saying NO to religion -     Young people being pulled away from God -     Biblical worldview rapidly declined – 84% to 9% in 2010. TURNING BACK TO GOD IS OUR ONLY HOPE More Bad News – America’s status in the Sociological Cycle – is at bottom of cycles Sociological Cycles – 4 Phases of USA History (80-100 year cycle) 1. High Cycle – USA 1946-1963        -Everything was working good        -Families were strong        -Churches were strong        -Economy was strong        -Education was strong 2. Awakening Cycle – USA 1964-1984        -Jesus Movement – Revival 3. Unraveling Cycle – USA 1985–2008        -People getting self-centered – consumerism        -Prideful        -Greedy – “Its all about ME”        -Turning away from God – “I don’t need God” Zephaniah 2:10-11 This they will have in return for their pride, because they have taunted and become arrogant against the people of the Lord of hosts. 11 The Lord will be terrifying to them, for He will starve all the gods of the earth; and all the coastlands of the nations will bow down to Him, everyone from his own place. (God is committed to tearing down pride and idolatry) Jeremiah 17:5 Thus says the Lord, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. 4. Crisis Cycle – USA 2009 - ???        -Entered with the 2008 economic collapse So we in the USA are a crucial crossroads.        -Depending on what we, Christians do, this nation will either loose its Super power status and go deeper into crisis OR, align with God and see Him restore America to her greatness SO THAT She can continue with God’s Kingdom purpose for her. IT’S OUR CHOICE which way the USA goes!!! Again I ask, Do we want to be Co-Kings with Jesus or become captives in a crisis??? TURNING WHOLEHEARTEDLY BACK TO GOD IS OUR ONLY HOPE WE CANNOT TRY TO SERVE GOD AND A SELFISH WORLD SYSTEM Now for some Good News -There is still hope. -There may still be time to turn this nation around. -Even if the USA does not turn around, we at TCA, can build our lives            strong on Jesus Christ, The WORD of God, by obeying His            Kingdom ways.            -This makes us unshakeable. (Rick Joyner, vision of anchoring his sword deep in the mountain ledge) Haggai 2:6-7 For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. 7 I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. Isaiah 54:10 “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you. Aligning with God and His Kingdom ways is the only way not to be shaken. Now for some more Good News -Many Christians have been diligently praying for the USA for several decades, to turn the moral decline around. -2 Chronicles 7:14 If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. -God responded by raising up Trump to defeat Clinton and start turning this nation back to Kingdom of God principles -Yes Trump might be rough around the edges BUT        -He has consistently been cutting out deep corruption in all areas of society.        -He has been fighting to restore righteous societal principles. (Slide) Book – After Collapse, the Regeneration of Complex Societies.        -Before Trump came in NONE of the regeneration facets were going on in the Obama administration.        -Now Trump is fighting for these societal principles to be restored.               -I am about to study this book to help TCA see how to prayerfully help restore these regeneration principles. -Let’s be part of the solution and NOT part of the problem. -Lets join with 10s of 1000s of Christians and do our part -Let’s now look at God’s Kingdom solutions, AND align with them! Matthew 6:33  But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Daniel 11:32b “…but the people who know (in deep intimate relationship) their God will display strength and take action.” Matthew 16:18 I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. Let’s sum these truths up in 4 practical steps that we can do to work with God in the regeneration of America. TCA can play a vital role in letting God reign through the USA. Slide 1 Must have personal fire of Holy Spirit (Daily personal relationship building with God) -Turn wholeheartedly to God        -Build a consistent daily time with God in becoming His true disciples Slide 2 Take care of our own.        -Early New Testament Church took care of the needy               -Isa 58 (10 facets of helping others)-“The real fast”               -Isa 61:1-3 / Luke 4:18-19                      (the promised benefits that follow 58 & 61 are excellent) Slide 3 Jesus’ mission to the 7 influential societal spheres (Family, Religion, Government, Education, Market Place, Media, Arts & Entertainment).        -1975 same vision to Loren Cunningham of YWAM, Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ, and Francis Schaeffer of L’Abri Institute. “Make disciples in the 7 mountains who will change society to reflect Kingdom of God values”. Slide: Tommi Femrite 7 Mountain Intercession book Let’s grow in evangelizing and making disciples in the 7 mountains Slide 4 Send or support missionaries to the 7 Strategic Regions of the World.        -Thereby obeying Jesus’ command in Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe (obey) all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Slide 0.00006% current missionaries        -USA slipped from #1 Most missionaries sent per nation to #9        -We have to build this back up. Slide 200,000 new missionaries needed        -Let’s pray in either going, sending, or funding missionaries to these 7 Strategic Regions of the world. Slide 7 Strategic Regions of the World        -Ray, Ruth and many of you have been going to China        -Tanya and I focus on Nepal and India (the Himalyas) (Optional Slides on the Sahel belt of Africa – expanse and result of Islam) Conclusion – Our prayer needs to be: (Slide) 2 Chronicles 140:11 Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, “Lord, there is no one besides You to help in the battle between the powerful and those who have no strength; so help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in You, and in Your name have come against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; let not man prevail against You.” (Slide) Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts. Let’s not grow weary in well doing Galatians 6:9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. Alter Call -TCA, I personally am responding to God by being ALL IN with the truths in the message. -I know many of you are already doing these too. -For those that want to go all out with God, let’s stand and I will pray a commitment to God for us. -Let’s pray for a critical mass of Christians to rise and obey this message so God can turn this nation back to His plans.
