並且知道你是從小明白聖經，這聖經能使你因信基督耶穌，有得救的智慧。聖經都是神所默示的(或譯：凡神所默示的聖經)，於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，叫屬神的人得以完全，預備行各樣的善事。 （提摩太後書3:15-17)
2Tim 3:15-17 15and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Ruth 1: 16-17 16But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. 這事以後，保羅離了雅典，來到哥林多。遇見一個猶太人，名叫亞居拉，他生在本都；因為革老丟命猶太人都離開羅馬，新近帶凜妻百基拉，從義大利來。保羅就投奔了他們。他們本是製造帳棚為業。保羅因與他們同業，就和他們同住工作。

Act 18:1-3 1After this, Paul left Athens and went to Corinth. 2There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them, 3and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.
他在會堂裡放膽講道；百基拉，亞居拉聽見，就接他來，將神的道給他講解更加詳細。他想要往亞該亞去，弟兄們就勉勵他，並寫信請門徒接待他(或譯：弟兄們就寫信勸門徒接待他)。他到了那裡，多幫助那蒙恩信主的人，在眾人面前極有能力，駁倒猶太人，引聖經證明耶穌是基督。 (徒18：26-28）
Act 18:26-28 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately. 27 When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers and sisters encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. When he arrived, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed. 28 For he vigorously refuted his Jewish opponents in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah.

倘若我耽延日久，你也可以知道在神的家中當怎樣行。這家就是永生神的教會，真理的柱石和根基。大哉，敬虔的奧秘！無人不以為然：就是神在肉身顯現，被聖靈稱義(或譯：在靈性稱義)，被天使看見，被傳於外邦，被世人信服，被接在榮耀裡。

1 Tim 3:15-16 15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. 16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
