Q – Would you like to know what’s in it? Q- Would you like to leave here today knowing how to find it and fulfill it? (Pass out discussion Notes Sheet -Look for and write the most impacting points of this sermon and share them in your small group.) Psalm 139:16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. -This is the most exciting Adventure in LIFE: -Walking with Jesus, your best Friend -Asking Him to reveal what’s in YOUR BOOK -Asking Him to help you fulfill it. -There is NO HIGHER ACHIEVEMENT in LIFE Ephesians 2:10 AMP For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. -King David fulfilled HIS BOOK Psalm 40:7-8 Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. 8 I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart.” -Jesus followed in King David’s footsteps and quoted Him Hebrews 10:5-7 Therefore, when He (JESUS) comes into the world, He says, “Sacrifice and offering You have not desired, But a body You have prepared for Me; 6 In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin You have taken no pleasure. 7 “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (In the scroll of the book it is written of Me) To do Your will, O God.’” Q-Again I ask you: WOULD YOU LIKE TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY? -Let me give you PRACTICAL STEPS out of Bible -5 points from Romans 8:29-30 -And a “satan crushing” bomb shell -Listen closely because this is YOUR LIFE IF you choose it Romans 8:29-30 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. 1. God FOREKNEW YOU. -The Trinity (& 24 Elders, etc.) held a COUNCEL about YOU -They laid out the PLAN your LIFE WAS TO FULFILL -Very important KINGDOM PURPOSES 2. God PREDESTINED your LIFE PLAN -He wrote it in YOUR BOOK -Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. -Just like Jesus’ and King David’s BOOK D-Predestined – Does NOT mean it will come to pass -Free will of humans is given by God -If we stay UNSUBMITTED to Jesus = abort our DESTINY -God’s sovereignty will accomplish His main plans WITH or WITHOUT YOU. -If you ABORT your God given DESTINY, then He will find someone else. EX – Micah’s STORY -Micah was PREDESTINED for another Family -But PREDESTINED Mom was KILLED IN CAR WRECK which was not predestined. -Greatest way PREDESTINED PLANS do not come to pass is because humans fail to make Jesus #1 in life (best Friend) = something like Matthew 7:21-24 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you (Friendship); depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ -In the end YOUR BOOK WILL BE OPENED -To see IF you fulfilled it. EX. Remember Chris Valottin – Jesus visited him for 30 minutes and told him his DESTINY PLAN to be a prophet -But Jesus said – ONLY HISTORY will tell IF you believed me (and fulfilled your calling) -This shook Chris to the core -He stayed very diligent to LEARN, GROW & FULFILL that calling. -Now 25 years later Chris has blessed hundreds of thousands of people from all over the earth with PREDESTINED CALLING written in his BOOK. -God’s PREDESTINED PURPOSE FOR YOU carries GRACE TO FULFILL IT. -***HUGE*** You can know IF you have found God’s purpose for you by the IF Grace is there to do it (making it easier than you thought possible). -This is a way to TEST it. EX. TCA was not on our radar, BUT was in the Predestined Council of God, and IN OUR BOOK. EX. Eric Liddel’s God ordained PREDESTINED plan TO RUN TO THE GLORY AND PLEASURE OF GOD. (Chariots of Fire) -He found this out and knew it was God’s will for him -Grace=great runner & he felt God’s pleasure as he ran 3. Those God predestined He also CALLED. EX. God 1st awakened me to His CALL at HARPERS FERRY on Mtn. -watching sun go down -1 second wind stopped -God broke in and called me after Him -WARNING-God waited until I told Him with my whole heart I wanted to make Him #1 in my life. -Later, when I gave Him my whole heart and I responded in obedience to His call, He began to help me discover it and walk it out. -He will not violate your free will. If you do NOT want to follow His plan He will not force you. -But if you do choose Him, then He will open all of Heaven to you. EX. Tanya and I have been blessed watching Freddie’s heart after God’s own heart. -He is hungry and passionate about God -If you keep your heart like Freddies’ then God will wonderfully help you find and fulfill your destiny. ***HUGE KEY*** -What is written in your Heavenly BOOKS is -ALSO WRITTEN ON YOUR HEART. -Great keys of discovery: Q-What are your INTERESTS? EX. Tommy – Doctor OR Lawyer – what is stronger? Q-What are your DESIRES? Q-What are your ASPIRATIONS? Q-What are your LONGINGS? Q-What are your PASSIONS? EX. Joshua and Amy’s passion for ART -That will probably be part of God’s calling EX. Liangxian & I praying for Diana -She has great GRACE for Accounting (loves it) -BUT wants to serve God in ministry. -God’s DESTINY BOOK for her probably has both together EX. (MMI Couple) -One called to overseas’ missions -One called to children’s ministry -They DISCOVERED it was a BOTH / AND 4. Those He called He also JUSTIFIED. D-JUSTIFIED – legal term – to be rendered just or innocent -in other words NO ACCUSATION CAN STICK -Satan wants to cause our DESTINY to get ABORTED -He does it by coming to God’s Courts and accuses us of legal issues. -Our VICTORY is found in -Revelation 12:10-11 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. -So our overcoming prayers need to include: A. The Blood Covenant of Jesus (bought 7000+ promises) -This is why we celebrate COMMUNION B. The WORD of our TESTIMONY (agree with 7000 promises) C. Make Jesus #1 in your life above all else -Next week (God willing) I will cover these 3 points in more detail, along with this #4 JUSTIFIED part so we can win every time. -We must answer satan’s accusations with ALIGNING and PRAYING / DECREEING God’s Covenant TRUTHS -Jesus already paid it BUT we have to BELIEVE IT and SPEAK IT (= aligning with God’s BOOK for us) -Sad Ex. Elvis Presley 5. …whom He justified He also GLORIFIED -Keep persevering in your walk with Friend & Lord Jesus =YOU WIN -Remember Romans 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. -Cool EX. Joseph in Bible -Discovered his PREDESTINED DESTINY in his BOOK -Overcame being sold into slavery -Overcame being unjustly thrown in prison -Overcame bitterness towards his family. -Became 2nd in Command of all of Egypt and saved the whole Israelite nation Conclusion -of 5 points: 1. God FOREKNEW us 2. PREDESTINED us to what is in His Book for us 3. He CALLED us (helped us DISCOVER Destiny) 4. He JUSTIFIED us (helps us defeat satan’s legal accusations 5. He GLORIFIIES us (lives the dream through us) In future we will focus on 3 & 4 to help you. Jon Prophecies 1. They will DISCOVER and fulfill their DESTINY BOOK 2.
