TCA-YWAM Austin June 10, 2018 Topic: Living as Victorious Overcomers in God’s Court of Mercy & Grace (Compiled by Jon Dorris) (Permission granted for anyone to use freely)   Intro   Q-Have you ever felt like you could not get JUSTICE in a situation?   Q-Have you ever felt like a sin was constantly CONQUERING YOU?   -I certainly have to both Qs.   Q-Do you know that YOU are BEING ACCUSED?   Q-ARE YOU WINNING the legal battle over accusation?   Ex. Recently I caught (a demon of) skepticism creating doubt and unbelief in God’s truths. -I realized this was demonic interference with trusting Holy Spirit’s discernment. -SO I TOOK THE DEMON TO COURT AND I WON!!! -I got to kick his butt!!!   Q-Would you like to KICK demons in the butt?   (Main point) God has Good News for you: Hebrews 4:14-16 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.   -God gave us access to His Throne (Court) of Grace -To get mercy and grace FOR VICTORY OVER ANYTHING -Jesus is our Attorney & Councilor at Law   More Great News Colossians 2:13-15 When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.   OK Jesus already forgave us and beat satan and demons at THE CROSS.   -Correct! BUT is it working in real life?   -WHY NOT?   Satan uses LEGAL LOOPHOLES and constantly accuses you, AND BLOCKS PROMISES OF GOD.   Remember last week? Rev. 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he WHO ACCUSES THEM BEFORE OUR GOD DAY AND NIGHT. Q-How would you stop a bully who is threatening to kill you and your family? -You would ENFORCE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS! Q-Are you enforcing your rights with illegal bullies like satan? EX. Queen Ester came BOLDLY into the Court and made her petition before the King of the Court. -The King and Judge granted Queen Ester’s petition to -Save her life and all the Jews -Gave the Jews extreme favor in all the Kingdom -Hanged Hamman (a picture of satan) -satan LOST -His accusations against Ester and Jews BACKFIRED -YOU HAVE THIS SAME LEGAL RIGHT TO SHUT satan DOWN EVERY TIME Q-What if you do not do anything about satan’s ACCUSATIONS? -Then he gets away with harassing you and WILL NOT STOP -UNTIL YOU ENFORCE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS -Listen to your PRIVILEGED POSITION: Hebrews 12:22-24 But you have come to Mount Zion (us the Body of Christ) and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels (that perform God’s word out of our mouths), 23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect (Old Testament Saints),24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant (our Attorney), and to the sprinkled blood, (Jesus’ Blood Covenant) which speaks better than the blood of Abel. Q-But I thought I heard “The battle is the Lords”. -Yes BUT you have a part: Psalm 110:1-2 The Lord says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” 2 The Lord will stretch forth Your (Jesus’) strong scepter from Zion (us, the Body of Christ), saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.” -We ENFORCE what Jesus PAID FOR AT CROSS!!! -If not it won’t get done. Remember last week? How you do this? Rev. 12:11 And they overcame him because of: 1. the blood of the Lamb and because of  2. the word of their testimony, and 3. they did not love their life even when faced with death. OK are you ready to go to Heaven’s Courts IN YOUR PRAYER LIFE? -Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].   -Here is your VICTORIOUS Court of Heaven Protocol: 1. Agree with satan’s accusations 2. Confess your (and/or your Fore-Father’s) sins (bloodline) 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 3. Repent (CHOOSE to turn away from sin and into God’s Kingdom ways) 2 Chronicles 7:14 If My people who are called by My name, humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 4. Claim (out loud) the fact Jesus died for your sins and reconciled you back to right relationship to God. (Rev. 12:11 points 1 and 2 of 3) 5. Claim Jesus as your high priest (your LORD) NOT satan 6. Ask God (Judge of all) for mercy (for your failures) and grace to help you as you go forward. 7. Petition Father God (Judge of all) to issue verdict that satan is illegally accusing you and blocking your freedom and must now CEASE, DESIST AND LEAVE YOU forever. AND PAY BACK WHAT WAS STOLEN. -God will always grant you victory because of Jesus’ finished work at Cross (Blood Covenant) -God sends the angles to enforce His verdict and give you the blessings and (7000+) promises of Jesus’ Blood Covenant. _____________________________________________ -Listen to this EX in Zechariah 3:1-7 Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. 2 The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this(Joshua) not a brand plucked from the fire?” 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel. 4 He (God) spoke and said to those who were standing before him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him (Joshua).” Again he said to him, “See, I have taken your iniquity away from you and will clothe you with festal robes.” 5 Then I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with garments, while the angel of the Lord was standing by. 6 And the angel of the Lord admonished Joshua, saying, 7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘If you will walk in My ways and if you will perform My service, then you will also govern My house and also have charge of My courts, and I will grant you free access among these who are standing here.   Role Play – Court of Heaven and TCA Eng Fellowship being accused by satan of grossly sinning. Do Hebrews 4:16 and enter Throne of Grace (God’s Court) with confidence. And do steps 1-7: (Let’s all stand, take step forward and enter Court of GRACE.
